Malibou Lake Mountain Club Bulletins
The Malibou Lake Mountain Club is a residential community on the shores of a secluded lake in the Santa Monica Mountains. It was founded in 1922 as a 352-acre fishing and equestrian preserve with weekend cabins for members. These bulletins, dating from 1922 to 2010, chronicle the lives of club members and major events at the lake. They cover a variety of subjects such as updates from the Board of Directors (mainly about the Club's finances), details about Club events and promotions for upcoming events, news and updates about members, and club history. Updates from members include births, marriages, travel experiences, and deaths. The bulletins can also be used as a record of Malibou Lake's use as a filming location.
Bulletins are a part of two different collections:

Some collections or materials contain historical images or content which are products of their particular times, and may contain offensive language or negative stereotypes. These materials are presented as part of the historical record and the history of Pepperdine University. Pepperdine does not endorse the content of these historical collections but, rather, remains committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive community where students are strengthened for lives of purpose, service, and leadership.
